Elimination Diet

Hello,
Some have asked me about my weight loss. It's not much but I have lost 10 lbs still tossing another 5 on and off. I didn't go on this diet to lose weight but to get healthier. If you avoid or limit the rice intake than you will lose weight as a result. Another benefit is that you will feel better.
Here is a website that explains why to use the elimination diet. 1 is to find what you are allergic to and another is to help up your immune system.

This can also help with fibromyalgia (FMS) or chronic fatigue syndrome.

Another place that gives a summery of the diet then stressed foods to avoid.

July 4th 2009 Shopping in the rain.

We went to Half Price Books tonight and there was this lady there with pink capri's pink & white shirt and a pink & white striped hat. I wish I would have taken a picture of her. It was like a flower admist the rain. Well I was sitting there searching for books on the clearance cart and she comes up to me. "You work here don't you" She asked. I answer "No I don't" She replies "yes you do" by this time I'm thinking yah its the whole scanner thing... Whatever. "Ok how can I help you" "Do you know if you have any books by ________ ? "" What kind of books does she write" I ask. "Literature" she replies. "Nope never heard of her sorry. If it were in the religious section then I probably could have helped sorry...." "Yah but can you tell me how often YOU get in books?" "They get books in daily actually hourly most days. that is what THEY would tell you up to the desk up there ,"as I point in that direction. Sorry I couldn't help. I really don't work here. Have a nice day... " "Yes you do" she said as she walked away.
I don't think she was convinced that I didn't work there. LOL
She wasn't the only I had at least 5 others ask where something was or if I worked there... Par for the course I guess. I try to help when I can... even though I don't work there.
